Suggest Treatment For Skin Tag On Head, Arm Pits And Neck

default
Posted on Mon, 19 Jan 2015
Question: Yes, I have had a skin tag on my head, the upper right side top. When sleep I tear the skin tag and it bleeds and scabs over. It has been a problem for several years and not getting any better. I can't comb my hair or go get my hair cut because that scab would break open and bleed. I have no health insurance to see a dermatologist. I also have numerous skin tags in my arm pits, neck, and grown areas. What the heck doc?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Try home remedies

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam,

Thank you so much for writing in Healthcare magic.

I understand your concern.Since these are harmless, there is nothing to worry about it.But yes it can be bothersome if there are many and cause problems.

Since you do not want to go to dermatologist,I can suggest you to try home therapies like using garlic cloves, lemon juice ,tea tree oil or OTC skin tag removal kits. Please avoid eye area in doing so,that should only be done by physicians.

Hope this helps.Feel free to ask more.
