Suggest Treatment For Skin Tags On Face, Neck And Back
Question: Hello,
I am 35 years old and I get a lot of small skin tags on my face, neck and back areas. In the recent past I used to visit a Dermatologist who would use a small electric machine that emits lazer and would burn the skin tag which would then heal in a couple of days.
But my worry is that new skin tags (small ones) keep appearing and I want to find an easy way to treat it at home, can you please recommend a suitable remedy?
I have checked online and there are several creams that claim to do the magic but I am not sure if they are effective.
I could even buy a machine suitable for home use to treat my skin tags.
Please let me know what you think would work best for me.

Electrocautery Or Radiofrequency cautery is the procedure commonly employed for skin tag removal. I think that is what your dermatologist used to do it for you.
Unfortunately, there is no cream Or home remedy which would be effective for skin tags and I won't endorse Or suggest you to use any such products. It would be a waste of time and money and may invite side effects like irritation, scaring etc
Electrocautery Or Radiofrequency cautery is a doctor/ expert driven procedure and I won't suggest self use of such a machine at home as it might cause complications like scaring, pigmentation etc which would be disfiguring as well.
Though new skin tags may form at different places after removal of existing ones but the process is gradual i.e over months and years and treatment with electrocautery Or radiofrequency cautery is the best and ideal mode of skin tag removal even if it requires to be repeated after a duration of time.
