Brief Answer:
Details Required

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX
The condition is Apnea (Sleep apnea). As you have mention that most findings are normal. But the reason are not clear. (Assuming your treating physician has thoroughly investigated the cardiac function and all the finding are normal. and their is no sign of cardiac dysfunction)
At this point of time i would suggest you to take opinion of your treating the physician.

To investigate the case i require some more details in perspective of his case. Request you to answer for the below mention query.

1 Any similar episode of attack in past.
2 tonsil enlargement. any allergy, gastric reflex, Sinus problem.
3 any congestive feeling in the chest.
4 Excessive sleep.

I am not suggesting any medicine at this point of time because reason are not detected yet.
Understand this is emergency condition. So i would also suggest you to take opinion of chest physician.

Hope this is clear to you

Thanks

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX
Your treating physician has already diagnosed the case. It is Generalised congestion of laryngopharynx oedema and congestion of vocal cord. I.e Obstructive sleep apnea.
the possible reason for the condition may be
Weight, snoring, infection, allergy, some time enlarge tongue etc.

He is already under the medication by his doctor. so suggest you to follow the medication.
In homeopathy Phytolacca D Q 20 drops with half cup of water is indicated in such case. it also helps to cure infection and swelling in the throat.

Suggest him to loose weight. Exercise
avoid alcohol, smoking
Hope this is clear to you
Thanks
