Hi,
As your symptoms started after acute episode of stress / anxiety, I assume your sleep will improve after the current stressful events change. It would be a better decision to manage stress and anxiety with behavioural modifications instead of starting sleep medicines.
I will suggest you stop worries. Eat healthy food at regular intervals. Start physical exercise. Incase, the sleep trouble remains despite correction of anxiety / stress events, you may be started on a small dose of zolpidem (zolfresh). Please note that these drugs are prescription only medicines not available over the counter. Your local doctor will know about it.
