Question : I need to know that my baby is 16 month old and got minor scratch from needle. She has received 3 doses of dtap till date. And now her booster dose is due in march. Does she need extra shot of tetanus for this minor injury ?

I understand your concerns but don't worry. Your child has enough immunity for tetanus at present and doesn't require any extra dose. Continue with routine vaccination as planned in March.

Hello doctor. She received her primary series of dtap at at the age of 6 ,10 and 14 week respectively.. ie 3rd dose in 22 dec 2014.. will it provide protection till now as its already more than a year since last dose.
