Suggest Treatment For Small Bruise On Arm

Question: I have had a small bruise on my arm for probably a year now. Maybe I keep bumping the same spot ,but I am not sure about that. I have very XXXXXXX skin so it is not very visible.I have been to my dr. but, I didn't even think to mention it . I am 63 years old and have always bruised easily but, this just does not completely go away. Do you think I should be concerned or could it be that my skin is more fragile as I age??

Thank you for your query.
I can understand your concern regarding your skin problem.
At your age skin become more sensitive and fragile. There are more chance of bruise and skin allergy.
You mention that this spot on your arm has been for one year. Bruise never remain in same site for one year. It is possible that you get bruise again and again over one site due to friction or injury.
It might be age spot, nevus, post inflammatory pigmentation or hemangioma.
There is nothing to worry about your spot.
For proper diagnosis and treatment, it is better to consult dermatologist,
You need to apply good moisturizer three times a day.
Wear full sleeve cloths to minimize injury to the skin.
Drink 12-15 glass of water a day.
