Question : I have had a small peanut sized lump on my right testical since I was 12 or 13, I am now 25. it only hurts when I apply pressure and I never really notice it unless I'm checking for other lumps on various occasions. should I be alarmed? what could the lump be?

Brief Answer: Nothing to worry about. Detailed Answer: Hello! Thank you for the query. If the lump is there for so long time, it is nothing to worry about. Such lump can be epidydmis cyst or testicle cyst. It is also possible that its a part of normal structure which gives lump-like shape. To determine exactly what it is, ultrasound should be done. However if it does not get larger, no swelling, pain or discomfort, for sure there is nothing to worry about. Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions. Regards.
