Question : I have a small, slightly red spot on my left wrist (ventral side) that looks like scar tissue, but i can't remember burning or injuring myself in that area. i don't have any similar blotches anywhere else on my body. should i be worried? it's not really itchy (unless I touch it), but when i rub the skin, i can feel that it's slightly elevated relative to the rest of the skin on my wrist. my right wrist has nothing like that.
Brief Answer:
Not worrisome, see following advice. ..
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern.
I have gone through the photo you uploaded and can say that the small red spot on your wrist might be due to an allergy reaction to possible insect bite or contact with any allergen.
If you noticed recently, and if it is not itchy, then I recommend to wait and see changes in following days. Otherwise, if you noticed since several weeks and it's itchy, can apply steroid cream locally.
It is not worrisome , but should look for changes in following days.
All the best!
