Brief Answer:
collaborative management approach.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.

I have gone through your query.

People having sociopathic personality are usually difficult to manage. They may require a collaborative management plan which includes long term drug treatment, psychological treatments and Family support and co-operation.

Choice of drug is governed by the symptoms of the person.
Drugs like mood stabilisers and antipsychotics are used to control aggression and mood instability.

It is important to rule out comorbid psychiatric disorders as this may affect treatment.

Indiviualised psychological treatments like behavior therapies and cognitive therapy are also implicated.
It may also include family therapy which teaches family members the ways to deal with the patient.

Prognosis of people having sociopathic personality is usually guarded. There may be some improvement in behavior over the time but the person usually relapses to initial condition.

For family,
1. Never be argumentative with the person.
2. Never disregard him.
3. Do not fulfill his undue demands.
4. Never try to overshadow his mistakes. At the same time, make him realize his mistakes calmly.
5. Treat him with love and care.
6. Ignore his attention seeking behavior.
7. Keep an eye on his acts as he may end up in some legal complications.

Adderall is a stimulant drug usually given for ADHD. There is no primary role of this drug in sociopathic personality.
If the drug is not benefitting the patient, then it should be gradually tapered and stopped (under doctor's supervision).

Hope this answers your query satisfactorily.

Feel free to discuss further.

Thanks.
