Question : Hello I have a rash/blister on the inside at the very back of my thigh. I thought it was due to chafing but it is very sore and tender when I walk. It is flat and I'm not sure if it was ever filled with anything. It is more scaly now. I've tried many creams and ointments including monastat, neosporine, athlete's foot cream, diaper rash cream. Nothing is working. Pictures of open sore attached. I am 5'7 and obese.

Hi
Welcome to the forum and thanks for trusting us.
You seem to have developed a pyogenic ulcer in the thigh region .
Such an ulcer is quite common in this area after a lesion of folliculitis .
You need to keep the affected area clean and dry.
Wash it with likewarm saline water twice a day .
Apply a topical antibiotic cream like mupirocin or neosporin over it twice a day.
Do not apply any other cream or oil over it.
Wear cotton clothes and undergarments so as to avoid sweating and friction.
Follow this regimen regularly for at least a week.
If however , the lesion still tends to persist, then you might need a course of oral antibiotics .
