Question : The roof of my mouth feels sore and irritated just like I have been sucking on too many hard candies.This is almost constant

2. I have occasional heartburn
3. I do not have dry mouth
4. I eat slightly spicy food once in a while, not often
5. No medication
6. I take medication for diabetes (metformin,

3. No dry mouth
4. I eat mildly spicy food occasionally, not very often
5. No medication for the heart burn
6. I have diabetes for which I take metformin, Byeta, and Lantus. I
also take medication for high blood pressure which includes HCT-cant
recall the name at the moment and carvedilol, plus a number of over the
counter supplements.

The symptoms can be due to side effects of medicines .
Such symptoms can be due to Iron or Vitamin B12 deficiency.
So consult a Dentist and get an oral exam done..
For now to reduce soreness gargle with lidocaine containing mouthwash like magic mouthwash and do cool water rinses.
Sucking ice lolly can help..
