Question : I have a spot on my leg about the size of a soft
ball. It started last week as a scratch from my boots while I was fishing in the woods. It is white in the middle with a deep red around it. At the time, it was only a scratch with no visible tick. over the last week it has continue to grow daily. It does not change color when you press on it, sore when I flex my calf, but doesn't really hurt. It does have an itch to it occasionally

Brief Answer:
The rash is typical of a tick bite.

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through the description as well as the attached image. The rash is typical for erythema marginatum or erythema migrans which is typical of a tick bite. Even though there is no fever, I would suggest you to visit a doctor and get it treated. Usually it is treated with doxycycline 100 mg orally twice daily for 14 days. If you have itchiness, taking some antiallergic like cetirizine will provide relief.
