Brief Answer:
Mention in detail about the incidence.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Lliana,

Welcome to HCM.

The risk of HIV with single unprotected sex is very less even if the partner is positive or high risk. You can go for HIV testing to confirm your status but it is very early so wait for at-least 15 days then go for 4th generation test to relieve your anxiety.

Please explain in details about the incidence for a better understanding and risk assessment.
As your friend I will advice to stay away from unsafe sexual practice as much as you can. For any further query feel free to ask me any time and I am always here to help you.

Thank You

Brief Answer:
It might be due to some throat infection.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Lliana,

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.

Swollen tonsils and white stuff on it might be due to some other bacterial or viral throat infection but not related to HIV or any other STD so don't worry, forget about the incidence and move on in life.

Thank You

So this has nothing to do with oral sex

Answered by Dr. Sunil Jangid (5 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
It is due to bad oral hygiene.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Lliana,

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.

Unprotected oral sex is related to poor oral hygiene which can lead to white stuff on tongue and swollen tonsils due to some throat infection but it will recover with medicines. It is not related to HIV or any other STD so don't be panic and get done the test to relieve your anxiety or fear of HIV.

Thank You
