Question : Hello Doctor,

I am having sore throat since today morning accompained with mild cough. No pain so far but i do feel a little uncomfortable while swallowing. Expecting that this may worsen tomorrow, please do suggest a cure.

Hi, thanks for your query.
In my opinion, you can be treated with hot saline gargle 3 to 4 times per day.
Avoid oily and cold items. Empirically you can take decongestant tablet twice daily for 3 to 5 days. Anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol for throat pain.

Gargles dont seem to be working, even did gargle with Tantum.
