Question : Hi, i have a swolen helix on my left ear. I cannot see it, but my husband says it looks like a pimple on the scap that is also on the back of the ear. My jaw on the left side is painful, i have a headache, runny nose and small sore throat.
My ear started hurting a couple days agl, and i thought it would go away, but its getting worse.
Basically i feel like i am falling apart.

Hi,

This is a probable viral infection. Am not sure antibiotics are required now and they would make no difference in your care and recovery.

I suggest that you go with Tylenol 1000mg every 6-8hours. This will address your pains and the inflammation would subside.
