This is common and should settle down. Get a throat examination done.

Thank you for your query.

1. A sneeze is a very violent event for the delicate lining of the nose, sinuses, throat and lungs.

2. Air flow speeds may exceed 140 kmph (the speed at which a jet airplane takes off).

3. Hence it is common to get pain and redness in the throat, nasal congestion and secretions. If you have a sore throat, the throat is already inflamed, so the pain and congestion is more.

4. It will be better to get the throat examined by a local doctor and get a full course of medication. Meanwhile you can continue the anti-inflammatory medication and wait for the pain and redness to decrease.
