Brief Answer:
It is upper respiratory tract infection and needs proper care and treatment

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic!
I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns today and will put my best efforts to get you out of this situation.

You have contracted acute Upper respiratory tract infection and it seems to be bacterial infection. Initially it was Pharyngitis (infection of the throat area) which has now spread to the ear.

How infection gets to the ear?
There is a tubal conduit between middle ear and throat. Name of this tube is Eustachian Tube and it is the connection between middle ear and throat. Infection and inflammation has travelled through this tube to your ear. inflammation of this tube and the ear itself is causing the feeling of pressure and pain.

How to proceed further now:-
If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you AZITHROMYCIN antibiotic class of drug if not allergic to, Plus ACETAMINOPHEN, PSEUDOEPHEDRINE, FEXOFENADINE and of course a follow-up after a week.

Take Lukewarm water, add salt and do gargles with it many times a day. Also do nasal douches with same water.

Keep a plenty of fluid supply. Take proper rest and night's sleep. Take healthy and balanced diet. You will start feeling OK in a couple of days.
