Question: I am an almost 64 year old black male. I am diabetic and have taken 2 doses of Diabetic Tussin today . One at 6:30 and one at 10:30pm. The Tussin seems to affect the sore throat and the coughing, but I have very severe headache which is preventing me from sleeping. It's now 1:00am. Is there a safe headache medicine that I can take?

Brief Answer:
paracetamol

Detailed Answer:
Good day,

Noted your concern. You could safely take acetaminophen (TYlenol) for headache. This is a safe medicine if you do not have liver disease. You can take 2 tablets of tylenol 500 mg for the relief of headache.
