Question : drippy nose all day monday..sore throat all night, slept very little. am up but weary...am a 91 yr old athletic guy

Aspirin gargles

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I suggest an antihistamine like Claritin twice a day with warm water.
I suggest aspirin (dispersible) gargles if not allergic to aspirin thrice a day.
If you have cough you can take over the counter anticough syrup like Robutussin. You may run temperature if so then you should head to local clinic for prescription of antibiotic.
