Brief Answer:
Upper respiratory infection

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you son is having an upper respiratory infection. He more than likely has a viral illness. The eye pain is from the congestion in his nasal passages. This would also cause some dizziness as it may also affect his ears. If the discharge from his sinuses is green or bloody he may have a bacterial sinus infection and may need antibiotics to help. I would recommend that he see his medical provider so they can determine if his illness is viral or bacterial. While waiting I recommend drinking plenty of fluids to help flush the system, tylenol for headache, a decongestant to help open his sinuses and reduce the dizziness.
