Question : Hello, I have a very sore throat (on the right side) and swallowing is very painful. It just started before the weekend

The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible upper respiratory tract infection.
I would suggest that you do the following
1. steam inhalation 4 times a day
2. warm saline gargles 4 times a day
3. multivitamins course once a day
4. antibiotics as per local sensitivity
5. paracetamol sos.
