Question : There's is area when I apply pressure feels hurt like a sore could it just be a pulled muscle? It happen a few months ago but went away. Seems like the same point. And I recently did push-ups and used the roller for exercise. Here's a photo it's the area with the red dot

                                    Brief Answer:
Pulled muscle due to over exercise
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern.
I have gone through the photo of the area where you have the pain, and could be pulled muscle or due to over exercised.
For the moment, I advise to avoid exercise until improvement and take oral pain killers.
However, if the pain won't subside, should consult with your doctor to rule out appendicitis.
Wish fast recovery.

So the pain subsided after awhile but now there is pain on my left side. Which occurred after i did hula hoops for 8 mins continuous. But it also disappeared after I pressed or stretched. But it appears suddenly again after I sat for along time and suddenly stood up. Could it just be muscle spasm?

                                    Brief Answer:
Yes, still thinking of muscle spasm, avoid triggering exercises...
Detailed Answer:
Hello back Llizee,
Thank you for providing additional data regarding your health problems.
I suppose that you experience some side stitches or cramps while you exercise (hula hoops for 8 mins continuous) . These are not a medical concern and they fade away after you stop exercising. They are more common to the beginners and they do not happen anymore.
Stop exercising when you start feeling a cramp then start again. Avoid drinking too much water and gas producing foods before exercise.
Another fact is that during exercise when you push yourself too hard or pull a muscle you may cause damage to the abdominal muscles and make them feel sore. Do not push yourself too hard and if the muscle hurts stop doing the exercises and let the muscle recover. Usually, this happens the day after exercise and usually is more focal spread in nature.
If the symptoms continue after you stop exercising than I advise you do see you doctor and check the function of the large intestine.
Anyway, probably this is again a case of muscle stitches that can resolve by itself within three days. I advise to change the way you exercise, slow the intensity of workout when needed.
Hope this is helpful.

If the pain does not occur so often anymore,no need to see doc now...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
To my opinion, as long as the pain does not occur so often anymore, then, this confirms it is a muscular pain. So, no need to see a doctor right now. Just avoid being over-exercised or avoid those exercises that trigger this pain.
Meanwhile, you should keep tracking the pain. If not fading or totally gone for the next week, then, should see a surgeon.
All the best.

Hi back,
Yes it is normal, specially if you do not let your muscles recover from the previous strain.
That's why we recommend not to exercise until fully recovered.

Hi back,
Yes, it is muscle strain.
Avoid exercise until no pain.
Don't be paranoid, there isn't your case.
Still if pain or no improvement, get an abdominal ultrasound done.
