Brief Answer:
Is your knee swollen?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.
I will like to obtain some more information before making a list of possible causes and proposing a plan to address this.
1. Is the knee swollen/increased in size compared to the other?
2. Have you ever been involved in an accident that affected the knee?
3. Do you have any other painful joint?
4. HAs diclofenac been helpful to you?
Knee pain could result from an infection, trauma, inflammation, etc. The above information would be guiding on what next steps should be taken in establishing the cause and proposing a plan.
Waiting to hear back from you on this and promise to get back to you as soon as I review your responses.

Thank you doctor for getting back to me
That knee is slightly swollen but not very noticeable
Never had an accident
No other painful joints
Diclofenac helps very little. I had some left over fro a swollen elbow a few months back
Not an inttence pain but soreness is constantly there but moves around from back to front or on the sides
If I hold my foot firm to the door and twist my leg
That is when I get a sharp and painful jab but goes away quickly
But slight soreness remains
Hurts to be bend down on 1 knee
Played a lot of hockey over the years and still do
But have had to take the last few weeks off because of this
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Get images of the knees for evaluation!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Given the nature of the pain and your hockey related activities, I will suggest that we get radiological images of your knee. There could be a lesion at this knee. The mild swelling and pains when locked and twisting could suggest damaged to the menisci. I will advise an MRI. That will be guiding and will allow us know whether more needs to be done or we simply need to follow through on the pain management and other non traumatic causes.
Keep me posted on this.
