Question : I have these crater like sores in the crack of my buttocks. I have had them for weeks now and have tried almost everything including some steroid ointment from my doctor. Nothing seems to help. What can you suggest. Thank you

Thanks for the query.
Sore in butt Crack is a mainly due to mixed bacterial and fungal infection.
I treat such cases with topical antifungals cream like clotrimazole to be applied twice daily for 15 days and oral antibiotic for a week.
This combination gives excellent response within a week.
You can try this in consultation with your doctor.
Don't apply steroid cream this may harm you.
