Question: I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis last year, I had started getting sores on my inner thighs and outer thighs, these sores were puss filled and leave scars. I had visited the hospital to ask about them and was told it was a bacterial infection due to my lowered immune system, however I have gotten one on my scrotum and I am worried it might be something more,

Brief Answer:
Folliculitis/pustules

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I am Dr.Barani and I am pleased to assist you.

I saw the pictures.
You are having folliculitis and resultant pustules. The pus has to be let out and you need to take a course of antibiotics for complete recovery.

As told in the hospital, lowered immunity is the probable cause.

I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if you have any more query.
