Question : I have been told that I have spinal stenosis. Who has the best medical expertise for
taking care of my problem, a Orthopedic or a Neurologist Doctor? XXXX

Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
In my opinion both , if they are dealing with spine , Equally good to treat / operate spinal stenosis. Spinal stenosis generally has no medical cure - only prolong the initial period for some time before surgery is required. Also the treatment depends on exact cause.

There are many causes of spinal canal stenosis. It can be primary due to structural constriction or secondary due to multiple causes like ligamentum flavam hypertrophy , Spondylolisthesis etc.
