Question: What are the visual identification factors for herpes. I have two small spots in my pubic region that are clustered together, at first I thought they were an ingrown hair or pimple but after research herpes I've kind of freaked myself out. I have t seemed medical attention as of yet.

Brief Answer:
normally small blisters/vesicles, become open ulcers/sores

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Herpes is normally associated with pain.

It may start off as discomfort in a particular area, redness, followed by small vesicles which are fluid filled lesions.
There is pain at each of these stages.
The fluid filled lesions then open to form small ulcers/sores which as also painful.

The infection may not be typical for everyone but these are the most common signs.

If your lesions are not painful or are changing to form open ulcers or sores then it is less likely herpes.

If you wish to be certain there are blood tests that can be done to check for herpes.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
