Suggest Treatment For Spreading Rash On Arms And Legs
Question: I STARTED NOTICING A RASH ON MY UPPER ARMS AND LEGS ABOUT 4 DAYS AGO. EACH DAY IT PROGRESSED TO LOWER ARMS AND LEGS, CHEST, AND STOMACH. WENT TO HOSPITAL EMERGENCY LAST NIGHT.
THEY GAVE ME RX FOR PREDNISOME 60 MGS PER DAY FOR 3 DAYS UNTIL MY DERMATOLOGIST CAN SEE ME. I HAVE A CALL INTO MY DOCTOR TO SEE ME TOMARROW, IF POSSIBLE. I TOOK 2 X 25 MGS OF BENADRYL WITH THE PREDNISOME TO HELP COUNTER ACT THE HYPER FEELING I GET FROM RX. BENADRYL SEEMES TO IMMEDIATELY INFLAME THE RASH AND COUNTER ACT THE PREDNISOME. LAST NIGHT THE PREDNISOME SEEMED TO HELP BUT NOT AS MUCH AS I EXPECTED. WHAT'S HAPPENING? I WAS ON VACTION IN ROME WHEN RASH STARTED ON SECOND DAY.
