Question : I have a spreading rash on the back of my neck. It stared this past Sunday with what I though was a mosquito bite behind my left ear. That irritation went away in about 4 days, but I now have a rash in bumps on the back of my neck and shoulders. There are also spots on my arms and hands. It doesn't look like poison ivy. It is more painful than itchy. But, not really bad about 1/2 out 10.
Brief Answer:
Seems to be resolving.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query and have checked the attached image. The erythema or redness has already subsided and so they should be in a healing stage. I see that the bump is still there but I would not worry about it. However, I would insist you to apply calamine lotion for topical relief and to take cetirizine tablet once daily for next few days. I think that it would resolve soon.
In case you get fever or some other complaints, you would need to vist a doctor.
