Question: Hi,

My brother who is in XXXXXXX has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. He is currently being given XELOX 150 mg injections and is XELODA 500 mg. I was thinking of calling him to USA for treatment. Is he going to get the same medicines in USA as well or will there be any additional medicines and advantages as such.

Here are more details and reports.

My elder brother is having Chrons disease and during operation was diagnosed with colon cancer and was treated accordingly. One operation was done 3 years back and then he had same pain few months back and was operated again and he was tested for colon cancer again and was positive, so he is getting treatment for cancer too.


I am attaching the reports and 3 additional reports (Histopathology Report Dt. 22.10.11_Stage 3 Report, Histopathology Report Dt. 13.10.11 (2)_Stage 2 Report and Stage 4 Report). Stage 2 (STAGE II A (PT2, PNo, PMx) )and Stage 3 (AJCC staging - pT3 pN0) reports related to cancer were taken in just a week apart. Stage 2 report was taken on 13.10.2011 and Stage 3 was on 22.10.11

How is it possible that two reports can show two different results? Then Chemotherapy was done and my elder brother started feeling better and doctors were also happy with the treatment. Then after 3 years after Chrons disease related operation he was tested for Colon cancer again and this time the report on 25.02.2015 shows the cancer as Stage 4 (Stage T4 N1 M1). So we are confused with the reports? Is there any treatment available in USA that can cure this cancer once for all?
