Strength of Rotigotine should be gradually increased.

Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
As your symptoms are getting worse and stiffness is the prominent complaint,Rotigotine patch can be increased in strength. You can increase 2 mg/24 hours at weekly intervals. You can go to a maximum of 6 mg/24 hours.
Alternatively,as you mentioned, increasing the strength on alternate days can be an acceptable approach.
Even madopar could have been increased, but as you mentioned it cause a lot of side effects in your case. So,for now, increasing rotigotine strength can be tried.
If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to answer.
