Suggest Treatment For Stomach Ache, Acidity And Stomach Discomfort

Question : One of my family member found reactive with Australia Antigen,Actully it was reactive in 2001 but never treated.When we tested same in 2014 its again reactive. Now the patient is suffering from stomach ache and acidity problems and discomfort.Now treatment is antacids and Hepakind tablets.What do you suggest.Is the condition treatable, what precautions and treatment should be taken and for how long?

You need more tests to plan the treatment.
The following tests are to be done -

1. HBeAg
2. HBV DNA quantitative test
3. Liver Function test
4. Serum alpha feto protein
5. Ultrasound scan of the abdomen.

You can discuss with your doctor about these tests.
Treatment can be planned based on the reports of these tests.
