Question : I have been experiencing stomach tenderness and intestinal area pain and cramping with frequent escaping
gas and gurgling. No diahrrea, and pretty normal daily bowel movements. My appetite is diminished, and I feel full after eating very little. This keeps me awake at night and very uncomfortable- sometime writhing in discomfort. Any ideas? from YYYY@YYYY

Brief Answer:
Can you please provide the following information?

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

Before running into final conclusions, may I know when did all these symptoms started? Any other symptom you might have? Any test done so far? Any other medication apart Gas-X?

From what you are describing, it might be due to:
- food intolerance
- viral gastroenteritis
- gastritis/GERD

For the moment, I can advise to:
- continue taking gas-x
- avoid foods that would aggravate gas: broccoli, cauliflower, beans, spicy, chilly, etc.
- eat often and small portions, chew up slowly
- do not lay down immediately after eating
- increase water intake
- take chamomile tea at bedtime
- try to have some walking during the day to help remove gas

Looking forward to have the requested information in!
