Suggest Treatment For Stomach Ulcer
Question: hello,
I believe that I have a stomach ulcer after eating I was feeling very nauseous and fatigued after eating better and drinking more water I've felt better but I can still feel it in my stomach, today I've noticed that my urine is foul smelling. but the color is very light it smells as if I'm dehydrated.. thought?

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having infection of the urinary tract ( UTI ). I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated. Following investigations may be helpful :-
1. Urine examination ( Routine / Microscopic and Culture / Sensitivity ).
2. Endoscopy(to rule out ulcers).
3. Temperature charting.
I would advise that you should drink lots of water daily. You can take an antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day before meals along with Domperidone 30mg for relief from your symptoms. Further medical management can be planned according to the reports of the above mentioned investigations and according to the clinical evaluation done by your doctor.

One follow up question though for you, I take zyrtec for my antiacid is that ok or would there be another medication you recommend, I've had heart burn for a good while and I was told nexium would over time would help kind of repair somebdamge to my esophagus is this true?

You can continue with either Zantac or with Nexium. Both will help in controlling your acidity and heart burn. I would advise that you should add Domperidone 30mg along with your antacid. An Endoscopy will be helpful in knowing the status of damage, if any, in your esophagus and the duodenum. Following precautions will be helpful :-
1.Avoid spicy and oily foods.
2.Avoid being empty stomach for long periods.
3.Avoid mental and emotional stress.
4.Avoid smoking and alcohol, if any.
5.Avoid self medications, especially pain killers and steroids.
6.Drink lots of water daily.
7.Eat light meals prepared under hygienic conditions.
8.Avoid gas producing foods like peas, cabbage, legumes, etc.
