Question : Returned from trip to Cuba. Some loose stools. Bowel feeling full. Mucous in stools. No abdominal pain.

Yes, it seems to be more of a bowel upset rather than infective diarrhea. This should get better with OTC drugs as you have already taken. Please remember to take lots of fluids, including electrolytes and your normal diet. Avoid leafy vegetables and fibers for some days.
If it does not get better in 2 days then you need to consult a GP and get the stool tested and get treated accordingly.
