Suggest Treatment For Stomech Infection And Vomiting

Question: I had stomach virus with vomiting all day on Monday. Went to an urgent care and they gave me Zofran to take to stop the nausea. Stomach was much improved on Tuesday into Wednesday and only ate lite foods, bu on New Year's Eve I know I ate too much for dinner. All night last night and all day today have have returned of stomach discomfort, but no vomiting and a couple times of diarrhea. I only had tea, applesauce, toast today and some Gaviscon. This whole day have had extreme gassy tummy. How can I get past this discomfort?

As per your description, it looks like you acquired Gut infection.
It could be due to contaminated food or water.
I prescribe Pre and Probiotic capsule along with Antibiotic Rifaximine 200mg twice daily to my patients with similar complaints. I also add a Proton pump inhibitor like Rabeprazole to my patients.
You can take these medicines after discussing with your doctor. Pre and probiotics and rabeprazole available over the counter
Please avoid outside food.
Drink Oral rehydration solution.
Please stop dairy products.
