Question : I have had alot of stress and trauma-and have had years of dental infections leading to tooth loss. Recently had another tooth removed that had an abcess. My heart hurts when I breathe-I wonder if the infections over the years have damaged my heart
Brief Answer:
It could be heart damage, do a cardiac ECHO...
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking to HCM!
Over the years dental infections may lead to heart damage. To exclude (or prove) heart damage I recommend doing a cardiac ECHO.
If there is no evidence of heart damage you have nothing to worry about.
Hope this was of help!
