Suggest Treatment For Stuck Prozac Pill Inside Throat

Question: I just took my prozac and i feel like it was caught in my throat. I drank some water but now I feel such burning in my throat, it's almost unbearable! Can I take a zantac or something? Help!

The burning sensation in the throat could be either due to trauma induced by the pill while passing down the throat or one of the side effect of the medicine (dry mucosa).

You need to drink plenty of warm water to reduce the inflammation and moisten the throat. Also, you can take Zantac to treat acidity if any.
