Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

The tests that you have performed have ruled out possible causes like a heart attack.

But the blood pressure values that you refer are really concerning.

Other possible causes like pulmonary embolism or an aorta dissection have not been excluded. Esophageal spasms could also cause some of your symptoms.

Coming to this point, I would recommend going again to the ER for a physical exam and some other tests:

- a chest angio CT scan to exclude possible pulmonary embolism and examine the aorta
- D-Dimmer levels for possible pulmonary embolism
- a new resting ECG.

If all the above tests result normal, esophageal spasms should be taken into consideration as a possible cause.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

DR. Iliri
