Here are some suggestions:

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

First, I want to make sure that this is not a more serious thing than itching/tickling in throat. If you feel there is any swelling in the throat, tongue, or lips, or difficulty breathing, then you need to be seen immediately when this happens and carry an Epi Pen. Especially if this occurs after eating a particular food such as nuts, peanuts, or shellfish.

But if that is not the case, it is likely that you are inhaling some allergen or irritant through your nose which is causing the reaction in your throat.

Suggestions for this:
Nasalcrom: This nasal spray stabilizes mast cells, the cells that contain histamine and other itch inducing substances. Nasalcrom can be used as needed or regularly. It is very safe.

Fluticasone (Flonase): This nasal spray works if used daily to decrease inflammation and tissue reactions. It takes several days of regular use for it to start to work well.

Both of these are sold without prescription at any pharmacy/drug store.

Increase your antihistamine: You may get benefit from doubling your antihistamine. If you take a combination antihistamine decongestant, only increase the antihistamine part.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
