Brief Answer:
Probably related to muscle tear/strain!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. The description of these symptoms makes the possibility of a possible muscle, tendon, or ligament injury likely. My recommendation is to allow this joint to rest, take Ibuprofen and Tylenol for relief. This should address the pain and healing would set in within 10days. If this fails to happen, only then would I advocate for more diagnostic test to look into the integrity of all the structures at this joint for possible injuries that require more invasive treatment like surgery or splinting.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications. Thanks for trusting using with your health questions today!

How are your bowel habits?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Can you please tell me what your vowel habits are and whether this pain had any relationship with stools? Also, I will appreciate if you can tell me what your sexual orientation is as this may be more common in homosexual males.

I hope to hear from you!.

Brief Answer:
This needs further investigation!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for this information. It is not very specific and the cause of these sudden pains episodes cannot be clearly established at this point. More information would be needed.

I will suggest that you monitor this longer. There is no immediate threat to life or potential complication. This may resolve spontaneously and if it does not cause any other concerning symptoms, exercise patience and let's obtain more information to act on.

I wish you well and always ready to respond to your concerns if need be.
