Suggest Treatment For Superficial Burn On Chest Area

default
Posted on Tue, 18 Aug 2015
Question: I spilled a cup of medium hot tea (not scolding hot) on my tshirt this morning. When it happened I took my tshirt off immediately. The area above my left breast was a little pink and also the side of my left behind. I immediately put aloe vera gel on those areas. After about a half hour the redness went away and now the skin is white and there is no blisters. I just took a cool shower and put on more aloe vera gel. Do you think everything should be alright? Please advise.

Brief Answer:
Silver sulfadiazine

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based upon your description , it appears to be small superficial burn. Silver sulfadiazine applied topically would be a better option. Its available over the counter and can be applied on the affected area. Most likely, everything will be just fine.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
