Question : Hi,

I am having swelling on left side back of my Tongue,having pain while eating or speaking

Hi and thanks for your query.

It seems like lymph node or tonsil enlargement due to infection, etc. It could also be injury.

I will suggest that you
- Take antibiotics under supervision of an ENT surgeon
- Consultation, examination and further testing is needed to be done by an ENT specialist
- Avoid any irritants like spices, tobacco, etc
- Gargle with warm water and salt
- Drink clean water and take hygienic food.
