Question : Hello Doctor,
I am a 23 year old female who is not sexually active. For about a week I have had very irritated thighs. I have had chafing before so I regarded it as that. Not but three days ago I noticed the area between my thigh and my vagina have been very raw and irritated also. I placed Gold Bond powder there in hopes to keep it dry and heal. I have also noticed that the right side of my vagina lips is swollen and tender to the touch. I have a strange liquid, that "sweats" from the entire area and seeps into my panties and pants. Upon examining my panties I noticed the liquid was yellow green on color and smell of rotting water, fish, and a wet dogs fur. I am not sure what to do and am very scared to see a doctor physically, out of embarrassment. Please help! Thank You.
