Question : My eyes are swollen only in the inner corner of my eyes. I have not done or used anything different except gone in my pool and sat out in the sun. I went to an eye doctor today and he said nothing is wrong with my eyes. He said it may be allergies but I have never had allergies before.

I am Dr Dadapeer, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
Swelling in the inner corner of the eye can occur because of infection or allergy....
If there are symptoms like pain it indicates infection and symptoms like itching indicate allergy.
Since you are having itching it can be because of allergy. It can also be because of exposure to pool water.
The treatment is by use of decongestant and antiallergic eye drops like Ocurest- AH eye drops.
The use of cold compression is helpful.

If possible do send me a photo of the affected eye so that I can confirm the diagnosis and advice you accordingly.
