Brief Answer:
Doppler study of lower limb(s) should be helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Cardiomyopathy is a condition where the heart cannot pump properly and so foot swelling is not unlikely. But the throbbing concerns me. If that is the case you need to get a lower limb doppler study (arterial and venous) done. Till then continue the medicines.

Let me know after getting the test done. Based on the report I will guide you further.

Regards
