Question : my grandmother had pace maker surgery 2 days ago but her breast is swollen what can I do she says it hurts very bad

Regarding your concern, I would explain her symptoms could be related to a subcutaneous hematoma or an infection.

I recommend bringing her to the ER for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a cardiac ultrasound and ultrasound of the breast
- a chest x-ray study
- a complete blood count
- coagulation tests
- inflammation tests ( PCR, sedimentation rate).
