Suggest Treatment For Swelling On Fingers And Discomfort After Carpal Tunnel Surgery

What do you suggest please! Jeni
use an arm sling
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
After a surgery for carpal tunnel, some swelling in the fingers and tingling is a routine finding. Just check if the bandage is tight around the wrist. Ask him to keep the hand elevated while resting. He can use an arm sling for that. This will help in reducing the swelling in next few days. In case there is numbness of the fingers or the tips of fingers are bluish then do consult his surgeon for examination.
I hope this answers your query.
