Question : I have a slightlyswollen left ankle and a history of blood clots. My Dr. Is out of town. Should I go to the hospital?

Hello,
If you have a history of deep vein thrombosis (blood clots) and you have a swollen ankle on only one side then this is very concerning for a new blood clot.
I suggest you go to Emergency now for ultrasound/doppler to make sure you do not have a blood clot in that leg.
Do not hesitate, have this checked out immediately,
