Question: Hi
I have just woken this morning with a sensation of swelling around my right eye and cheekbone. I am due to fly on holiday tomorrow and wondered if I should have this checked out. There is no pain.

Brief Answer:
If there is no redness then there is no cause for concern

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

dear Ms

Sleeping in one position can lead to dependent oedema and swelling. It usually occurs in face due to loose connective tissue. If there is no associated redness of overlying skin or associated pain then there is no cause for concern.

The swelling should subside
